Thirty minutes of self-guided ATV riding across Lancelin's sprawling sand dunes in Western Australia. You pick your quad from the available fleet and navigate the dunes at your own pace, with time to tackle the steep descents that define this landscape. Safety gear and basic coaching are provided, plus you'll receive complimentary photos of your run. This is pure throttle work on golden sand with minimal instruction once you're off.

What to expect

You'll arrive, select your quad, and receive a safety briefing and coaching if needed. Then you're loose on the dunes for half an hour of self-paced riding. The terrain is open sand with natural slopes—expect to climb, descend, and feel every gear change. The dunes shift underfoot, so lines vary by the day. It's physical work holding the ATV steady on steep grades and managing speed on loose ground. Bring water and wear layers; the sun reflects hard off the sand.

Minimum age for kids on quad is 8 years. Physical ID required. $250 security bond per group (pre-authorised by bank card only). Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular fitness, or are pregnant. Public transport access nearby.
