Pedal from Adelaide's heart to the beach on this guided 4-hour ride through the city, past the River Torrens parklands, and along the coast to Glenelg. You'll cover roughly 30km at an easy pace with a stop for morning tea, finishing in the seaside village of Glenelg where you can linger before catching the tram back to the city. Small groups mean you'll ride with a maximum of nine others, all on quality bikes with an experienced local guide leading the way.

What to expect

The tour kicks off in the city centre and winds through Adelaide's quieter streets and the Riverbank Precinct before joining dedicated cycle trails alongside the River Torrens. The riding is gentle and suitable for moderate cyclists—you'll follow marked paths designed for mixed abilities. Around halfway through, you'll stop for morning tea (coffee, juice or tea paired with a savoury roll or sweet treat). From there, the route hugs the coast, offering open sea views as you roll into Glenelg. The whole ride finishes around 1:00–1:30pm, leaving your afternoon free to wander Glenelg's shops, cafés and beach before catching the included tram ticket back whenever you're ready.

Good to know

You'll need basic bike-riding confidence and moderate fitness. Minimum height is 148cm; advise your exact height when booking. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The tour isn't suitable if you have spinal injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health. Bring water and sunscreen. No hotel pickups are included, but public transport links the departure point.
