What to expect

You'll meet your guide at the launch point and receive a safety briefing before boarding a sit-in kayak. The paddle follows shallow, calm creeks bordered by dense mangroves—no paddling experience needed, though moderate fitness helps. Expect a mix of paddling and floating, with frequent stops to observe dolphins, wading birds, and the forest itself. Water is calm and sheltered. The guide narrates local history and ecology throughout. Children under twelve sit with an adult in a two-person kayak. Bring insect repellent, a camera, water and snacks; wear shoes that can get wet and slather on sunscreen.

Good to know

Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or are pregnant. Sit-in kayaks may not fit people over 140kg—ring ahead if unsure. Souvenir photos cost extra. No hotel transfers included. Minimum age eight years; under-twelves must share a kayak with an adult.
