What to expect

You'll board a luxury catamaran in Port Douglas and sail into open water—expect movement and swell as the vessel catches the wind. The crew will brief you on snorkelling safety and ask about swimming ability; those uncomfortable in open water can skip this and use the glass-bottom boat instead. Once at Low Isles, you have freedom to explore: slip into the shallows with gear provided, join the guided snorkel, take the heritage walk, or relax on deck. Light lunch arrives on arrival, afternoon tea mid-visit. As light fades, you'll sail back to Port Douglas with the horizon turning orange.

Good to know

Bring swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. The catamaran has multiple deck levels and can be slippery; good mobility is essential. Poor swimmers should not attempt snorkelling. Medical declaration forms are required for snorkel participants. Dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) must be noted at booking.
