What to expect
You'll arrive at the studio and get fitted with an apron, then receive a quick rundown of basic hand-building or wheel techniques depending on your preference. Wendy will guide you through centering clay, shaping walls, or sculpting forms—it's tactile and forgiving, so don't worry about experience. You'll work at your own pace for roughly two hours, making one or more pieces. Everything you create gets fired in the kiln; Wendy will handle logistics for collection or shipping later. The studio has water stations, WiFi and proper ventilation. It's casual and collaborative, whether you're there solo or with colleagues.
Good to know
Wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on. The studio is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible transport options nearby. If you'd like pieces shipped post-firing, shipping costs are separate. Public transport connections are available close by.
