What to expect
Your guide will collect you from your hotel and take you through several stops across Ubud. You'll start by learning to wear traditional dress, then move into making offerings whilst understanding why Balinese families prepare them daily. Tasting jamu—bitter, earthy herbal drinks—gives a real sense of local wellness practices. At the temple, you'll participate in a water purification ritual beneath the waterfall, which is genuinely peaceful rather than staged. A meditation session follows before you head to a home kitchen where the meal is prepared. Everything moves at a relaxed pace; this isn't rushed tourism.

Pickup is free only within 3 kilometres of Ubud centre; beyond that costs 2 USD per kilometre extra. Alcohol and additional food portions aren't included.
