What to expect

You'll start with a briefing and safety gear check before heading out on your ATV into the surrounding countryside. The ride takes you across working farmland, through settlements where locals go about daily life, and into thicker vegetation where trails narrow. Expect dust, some technical sections requiring concentration, and stretches where you'll walk the bikes through trickier spots. The landscape shifts constantly—open paddy fields give way to forest, then creek beds. You'll stop for lunch partway through. By the end you'll be thoroughly muddy and tired, but having seen Ubud's actual countryside rather than its packaged version.

Good to know

Minimum moderate fitness required. Not suitable for pregnant travellers, those with spinal issues or serious heart conditions. Wear enclosed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting filthy. Shower and towels provided post-ride. Insurance is covered. Hotel collection and drop-off included.
