What to expect
Your guide meets you at your hotel and kits you out with helmet and gumboots before heading to the bikes. Expect 6–7 hours of mixed riding: some straightforward tracks through farmland alternate with technical climbs and descents through forest. You'll stop to explore a cave, then ride down to a waterfall where you can cool off and swim. The trail gets muddy near the river crossings—this isn't about staying clean. Lunch happens at a restaurant partway through. Your guide sets the pace and demonstrates routes before you tackle them, so you're never left guessing.
Good to know
Bring sunscreen and reapply often. The sun exposure is real out there. Wear clothes you don't mind getting filthy. Not suitable if you have back problems, are pregnant, or have heart conditions. Children can come along if supervised. You'll have access to showers and towels to clean up after.
