What to expect
You'll start the morning gripping a buggy's steering wheel as an instructor walks you through muddy jungle tracks and emerald paddies. Expect to get dirty and wet—it's part of the appeal. Around midday you'll stop for a hot Indonesian lunch to recover energy. The afternoon shifts gears entirely: you'll rinse off, change into dry clothes, then travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Padang Padang Beach for a swim. Later, you'll climb to Uluwatu Temple perched on dramatic cliffs as the sun sinks. The Kecak dancers perform as light fades, their chanting and fire-twirling filling the temple courtyard. You'll wrap up with grilled seafood and cold drinks at Jimbaran, feet near the sand.
