You'll start early to beat crowds at Lempuyang, climbing steep stone steps through forest to reach the famous gate where mist and mountain views frame your arrival. The walk takes focus and steady legs, though the pace is leisurely. After photos and prayer space time, you'll descend and transfer to Besakih, Bali's principal temple. Here you navigate multiple courtyards, layered shrines, and intricate carved gateways—a more contemplative experience than Lempuyang. Staff will explain temple culture and etiquette. Good to know

Wear comfortable walking shoes and respect sarong requirements at temples (provided or rent on-site). Bring a hat and sunscreen for exposed sections. The gate photo fee (around IDR 25,000) is separate. Early starts mean 5–6 am pickup. All transport, entrance, and a mineral water bottle are covered. No extreme fitness needed, but the Lempuyang climb involves sustained steps.
