You'll meet your driver and guide at your hotel and set the route together based on what excites you most. If temples appeal, you'll visit significant sites with cultural context from someone who knows them intimately. Prefer action? Head to rapids suitable for your skill level, with plenty of rural scenery along the way. Many groups mix both—a sacred site in the morning, adventure in the afternoon.
