What to expect

Your guide collects you early morning from your accommodation in an air-conditioned van, then drives through the Ubud region for roughly two hours, stopping at scenic points. You'll gear up at the Ayung River launch point and paddle for two hours—expect Class II–III rapids, periods of calm floating, and chances to wade into side pools beneath the forest canopy. After changing and a hearty meal, you're driven to Swing Heaven. Expect queues during peak hours. Each swing offers something different: some hang over steep drops, others sway gently. Photography takes up most of the time here; bring waterproof bags and plan 60–90 minutes of actual swinging and posing.

Good to know

Wear water shoes or sandals you don't mind losing. Bring a dry change of clothes, sunscreen, and a waterproof phone case. Sunburn is real on the river. All infrastructure is wheelchair-accessible; notify ahead if mobility assistance is needed. Not suitable for very young children unsupervised on adrenaline swings.
