What to expect
You'll begin with a pickup from your accommodation and head northwest to the Ayung River. After a safety briefing and gear check, your group launches onto the river's moderate rapids—expect splashing, some paddling instruction, and views of jungle walls and small waterfalls along the 2-hour descent. You'll then be transported to Tegallang, where you'll walk amongst the stepped rice paddies, stopping for photos and village exploration. Lunch is served at a local warung-style venue with traditional dishes. The pace is relaxed; no previous rafting experience required.
Good to know
Children must sit on an adult's lap during rafting. Not advised for pregnant travellers. Book the jungle swing separately if interested—it's excluded from this package. Wear water shoes or sandals that won't slip. Bring waterproof phone bags for valuables. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent.
