What to expect
Your guide picks you up from your accommodation and drives you south in a cool, private car. At Tanjung Benoa, you'll be fitted with a weighted helmet and descend a short ladder into shallow water. The sensation is immediate: you're standing on sand, breathing normally, whilst parrotfish and snappers dart past. Staff feed them by hand, drawing swarms around you. After 20–30 minutes underwater, you surface and dry off. The afternoon shifts to temples and beaches—Uluwatu's ancient shrine perches on a sheer drop with sweeping sea views, then Pandawa Beach reveals towering striped cliffs and black sand. You'll return to your hotel by evening.
