Paddle the Ayung River, Bali's longest and most recently developed rafting corridor, through lush jungle near Ubud. This six-hour adventure takes you down Class II–III rapids with full equipment, meals, and return transport included. What to expect

You'll be collected from your accommodation and driven to the Ayung River base in an air-conditioned vehicle. After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, your guide leads your small group into the water. Expect roughly two to three hours of active paddling broken by calmer pools where you can catch breath and take in the canopy. The river twists through steep banks, with occasional portages around bigger drops. You'll finish with a hot lunch at the base camp before heading back. Bring a change of clothes and secure any valuables beforehand—the ride is wet and exhilarating, not technical.

Good to know

Not suitable for pregnant travellers, those with spinal issues, or poor cardiovascular health. Children must sit on an adult's lap; infants can be left in prams at base camp. Insurance is included. Wear reef shoes or secure footwear. Arrive with an empty stomach or eat lightly beforehand.
