What to expect
Your driver collects you early morning and heads into the hills, stopping first at Menglers Hill for sweeping views across the valley floor. From there you'll visit three to four production venues—a cheese maker, chocolate workshop, and Maggie Beer's farm operation—each offering tastings and a look at how products are made. Mid-afternoon brings lunch and wine at a restaurant paired with local bottles. You'll finish at one or two wineries with proper cellar door tastings. Expect comfortable coach travel between venues, mostly on sealed roads through small towns. Most stops last 45 minutes to an hour.
