What to expect
You'll start either at Moana Beach or direct in the Vale, depending on your option. The electric bikes do the heavy lifting on hills and distance, so you pedal at conversation pace without arriving knackered. Your guide stops at three or four producers they genuinely know—expect proper chats with winemakers and brewers, not scripted spiel. Tastings are on you (usually around fifteen dollars per cellar door, or free if you buy), and lunch is wherever suits: pack a sandwich or hit a proper restaurant. The pace is leisurely; you're tasting wine, not racing kilometres.
Good to know
Cardiovascular fitness required but pace is gentle. E-bikes handle the hard work. Public transport nearby if you skip the pickup option. Bring water, sunscreen and a light jacket for cooler cellar doors. Lunch budget separate from tour cost.
