You'll start early from your accommodation and head uphill to Lempuyang—expect a steep walk to the famous gate (bring water and steady legs). The temple sits high with views across the coast. After a set Indonesian lunch at a local spot, you'll visit the sprawling heritage gardens of Taman Ujung, then drop down to the quieter Virgin Beach for a swim or rest.
