What to expect

Your driver collects you mid-morning and drives toward the coast. At Blue Lagoon, you'll kit up with provided snorkelling equipment and head out by boat to two separate reefs teeming with tropical fish and coral. The water stays warm and clear. Around midday you'll return for a substantial lunch of Indonesian dishes at an open-air restaurant overlooking the beach. After eating, you'll travel inland toward Ubud and Tegenungan Waterfall—a powerful 15-metre drop surrounded by dense vegetation where you can wade and cool off. The final stop is a small-scale coffee farm where locals explain processing methods and you sample different Balinese coffee styles before heading home.

Good to know

Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, are pregnant, or have serious heart conditions. Bring sunscreen, a towel, and wear shoes with grip for slippery waterfall rocks. The snorkelling sites suit all fitness levels. Photography at the waterfall is free; underwater photos cost extra.
