What to expect
You'll be picked up from a central Sydney hotel between 7–7.30am, then driven west into the Blue Mountains. The morning focuses on wildlife and mountain lookouts; expect to spend 1–2 hours at Featherdale spotting and photographing animals up close. At Scenic World, you'll take the cable car down into the valley, ride the railway, and optionally walk back up through rainforest to Wentworth Falls—all at your own pace with guide support. Around midday, you'll break for lunch in Leura Village (restaurants are nearby; costs vary). The afternoon involves more lookouts and photo stops before heading to Sydney Olympic Park Wharf for a 40–45 minute ferry ride back to Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. Bring cash alternatives; ferry fares aren't covered.
