What to expect

Your guide leads you through narrow passages and larger chambers, explaining the cave system's 300-million-year history. The terrain varies from smooth walkways to areas requiring careful footing through rocky sections. Expect to encounter tight spaces and uneven ground—the helmet protects your head in lower passages. Temperature inside stays around 16°C year-round, so bring a light layer. You'll see flowstone cascades, stalactites, and stalagmites, plus nocturnal creatures adapted to darkness. The experience is moderately active but accessible for ages 5 and up.

Good to know

Wear sturdy enclosed shoes with good grip—no sandals or open footwear. The caves stay cool and damp; avoid cotton if possible. Groups need minimum three people (two adults minimum). Not suitable if pregnant. Allow extra time getting to the caves, as transport isn't included. Difficult to use cameras in low light.
