You'll depart Paris early and arrive in vineyard country within the hour. The day alternates between walking and sitting: vineyard strolls are gentle, cellar tours involve stairs and uneven ground. At the family winery, expect a personal welcome and close interaction with the owners; at Nicolas Feuillatte, a more formal house tour with larger groups. Tastings happen mid-morning and afternoon, each paired with explanation of terroir and production differences. Lunch is on your own in Reims (around midday), giving you time to explore the cathedral and town before the second winery visit. The pace is moderate; no climbing or strenuous activity required.
