About this tour
Spend a full day driving through the Champagne region to taste at two contrasting houses: the industrial-scale Moët & Chandon in Épernay, and the small-batch biodynamic producer Larmandier-Bernier in the Côte des Blancs. Start in Hautvillers, where Dom Pérignon was buried, with views across the Marne Valley. A private driver handles transport between stops; each house's own guide leads the tastings. Roughly 10–12 hours.

- Marne Valley vineyard panorama from the village
- Moët & Chandon cellars and signature cuvée tasting
- Larmandier-Bernier biodynamic Grand Cru encounter

What to expect
Your driver collects you and heads into the Champagne heartland. First stop: Hautvillers, a small village where you walk around the church and absorb the vineyard landscape. Then on to Épernay's Moët & Chandon, where staff guide you through the famous cellars and pour several of their well-known blends. After a break (bring your own lunch), you'll drive south to the Côte des Blancs and Larmandier-Bernier, a quieter, hands-on operation. The second tasting focuses on their terroir-driven approach. Both tastings are led by each house's own English guides.
Good to know
Moët & Chandon closes January–February; alternative houses offered if needed. Both houses have visitor limits—you'll be notified immediately of any clashes. Lunch is not included; eat beforehand or bring something. The tour suits most fitness levels but isn't advised for those with heart conditions. Specialised infant seats available on request.
