What to expect

You'll be collected from your accommodation between 8am and 11am—confirm your preferred time beforehand. The driver arrives in a Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia, or Suzuki APV, all compact and suited to Bali's narrower roads. From there, the five hours are yours to direct. No fixed stops, no group waits. The driver speaks English and can suggest worthwhile spots if you're undecided, but you're steering the ship. Petrol's covered. If you run over five hours, each additional hour costs USD 8, paid directly to the driver.

Good to know

Be ready 10–15 minutes before pickup or risk the driver leaving. This rate applies to Gianyar and Badung regencies only; Karangasem, Singaraja, and Tabanan aren't covered. Unused hours don't carry over to another day. Parking fees and tips are separate. Infants sit on laps; children need adult supervision.
