What to expect

Expect a hands-on two-hour session split between the design and programming stations. First, you'll use vector software to create your pattern—think of it as digital drawing. The instructors walk you through the basics if you're new to it. Once you're happy, the engraving happens immediately. Then you'll move to the coding section, where you'll write simple commands to set your lamp's colour palette and effects. No programming background required; the workshop guides you through each step. You'll leave with a functioning lamp you genuinely made.
