You'll get a board, wetsuit, and transport from the base, with no more than four students per teacher. What to expect

You'll meet at the base and kit up. The instructor will assess your level in conversation—whether you're paddling out for the first time or need refinement on your pop-up. Transport takes you to whichever break is working that day. In the water, expect patient hands-on coaching: they'll position you, show timing, correct your balance. You'll catch waves under supervision, wipe out, try again. It's physical and humbling, but instructors keep things relaxed. Afterwards, you rinse off and head back.
