Six-and-a-half-hour adventure combining ATV thrills with wildlife spotting in the Daintree Rainforest near Port Douglas. You'll tear through creek crossings and hillside terrain on quad bikes, cool off with a swim at Cassowary Falls on private land, ride an Army Truck deeper into the ancient forest with a knowledgeable guide, grab lunch in Daintree Village, then cruise the Daintree River for crocodile sightings and native fauna. Includes return transfers from your accommodation.

What to expect

Expect a full day of active exploration. The ATV section demands confidence on uneven terrain—you're navigating water crossings and steep grades, so it's physical but manageable for most fitness levels. After working up an appetite, you'll swim in the falls' cool freshwater, then transfer to the covered Army Truck where the pace slows and your guide unpacks rainforest ecology and history. Lunch is casual village fare. The river cruise is gentler; you'll scan the banks and waterline for crocs, turtles and birds from a motorised boat. Weather can be tropical and humid; mornings are cooler.
