What to expect
You'll meet your instructor at Costa Teguise and spend time on dry land learning the fundamentals—how to breathe underwater, manage buoyancy and respond to basic hand signals. Once confident, you'll enter the water and descend gradually into the shallows. Your instructor stays with you throughout, pointing out local fish and marine life as you move along the seabed. The experience is unhurried; focus is on comfort and safety rather than distance covered.
