What to expect
You'll head out to either Sormiou or Morgiou, two striking calanques where vertical white rock meets sea. Fred will kit you up with harness, helmet and shoes, then work through climbing pitches that mix slab traverses, crack climbing and pillar work—nothing overly technical, but engaging and varied. Expect to spend most of your time moving over stone, with regular breaks to absorb the geography. The rock is solid and well-featured; the setting is genuinely exposed without being Alpine.
