Two dives on the USAT Liberty, a World War II wreck off Tulamben in east Bali, for certified divers only. What to expect
You'll meet at your hotel at 7:30 am for the drive north to Tulamben. On arrival, the dive centre provides a pre-dive briefing and equipment check. Both dives start from the black sand beach in front of the restaurant—no long boat ride needed. The first descent takes you to the Liberty's upper decks; the second explores different sections or the surrounding coral garden, depending on conditions and your interests. Between dives, you'll rest ashore, rinse off with fresh water, and eat lunch. The wreck lies shallow enough for relaxed exploration and strong light for underwater photography.
Good to know
You must be a PADI-certified diver and complete a medical form before arrival. Answer honestly to all health questions; if you tick 'yes' to any, obtain your doctor's written approval before the trip.
