Expect a relaxed pace mixing vehicle travel and guided walking. In Domme you'll explore the hilltop bastide's narrow lanes and ramparts. La Roque-Gageac offers quieter, more intimate alleys climbing steeply from the riverside. Beynac's fortress anchors the village and rewards the climb with valley views. The boat journey takes you beneath these villages and past riverside châteaux—bring a camera for reflections on still water. Surfaces are uneven and sloping; wear solid walking shoes.
