This three-hour workshop pairs drawing tuition with neighbourhood exploration, letting you capture the district's artistic character in your own style. Working in a group of no more than ten, you'll receive individual feedback and use provided materials—pencils, watercolours, felt pens—to document the quarter's distinctive corners. What to expect

Expect a slow, observational walk through Montmartre's quieter streets and squares. Your instructor will stop regularly at visually interesting spots—a doorway, a café corner, a cobbled passage—where you'll spend time drawing. You'll receive guidance on composition and technique suited to your level, whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or refining existing skills. The pace is unhurried; this isn't about covering ground but noticing details and translating them onto paper. Most time is spent drawing rather than walking.
