What to expect

You'll start at Reims Cathedral at 9:30am (or meet at the train station earlier) and spend the day moving between landmark sites and two working estates. Rather than rushed cellar visits, expect unhurried tastings where you compare different styles and learn production methods directly from wine educators. Lunch happens mid-tour at a restaurant chosen to suit the day's logistics and dietary needs. The afternoon finishes around 5pm in Epernay, leaving time to explore the main champagne houses if you wish, or catch a train onward. Walking and standing are moderate; the van accommodates pushchairs and compact wheelchairs with advance notice.
