Build serious breath-hold and depth skills over two days with this PADI Advanced Freediver course launching from Koh Chang. You'll train to dive 16–24 metres, extending your bottom time and strengthening the mental discipline that separates recreational from competent freedivers. The progression sharpens your body's efficiency underwater, letting you move with less effort and sit longer with the fish. Most divers who start at basics continue straight through to this level.

What to expect

Expect a focused technical curriculum that builds on your foundation skills. Day one covers advanced breathing mechanics, equalization refinement, and mental preparation for deeper static apnoea work. You'll spend significant time in the water practising controlled descents and comfortable holds at depth. Day two pushes the athletic component—longer bottom times, relaxation under pressure, and working with your body's natural responses rather than fighting them. The guide watches closely for form and safety markers. This isn't leisurely snorkelling; it's deliberate, methodical training that demands concentration and honesty about your limits.

Transfers available from west-coast hotels only. Course runs subject to decent weather; poor conditions trigger a free rebook. National park entry fees (Koh Rang) are separate. Bring sun protection and eat lightly before sessions.
