What to expect
You'll board in central Venice and head north through quieter waterways, passing smaller islands before reaching each major stop. At Murano, plan 90 minutes to watch furnace workers and browse the shops; Burano gets 60–90 minutes for photography and wandering. Torcello, the least touristy, rewards a slower exploration of its basilica and backstreets. Lunch happens at a local restaurant (you choose and pay separately). The final leg to Mazzorbo includes vineyard views; optional wine tasting can be added. Expect salt spray, bright sun, and the constant gentle rock of the boat.
Good to know
Wear sunscreen and bring a hat—there's limited shade on deck. Wear flat shoes for island walking. Lunch is not included; book ahead at restaurants we'll suggest. Infants sit on laps; prams stow onboard. Bring a light jacket for the boat ride, especially mornings and late afternoon.
