What to expect
You'll meet the crew at Cairns Pier Shopping Centre early morning, then walk to Marlin Marina to board. The catamaran cuts across open water in roughly 45 minutes. Once on site, the guide briefs you on entry and reef layout, then you descend into warm, clear water teeming with coral formations and tropical fish. Two separate snorkel sessions let you cover different ground. Between dips, you'll eat lunch on deck and rest. The boat returns mid-afternoon.
