What to expect
The boat departs Ajaccio and heads south along the coast, gradually leaving urban sprawl behind. You'll pass imposing rust-coloured cliffs before reaching Cocoa Bay—a tucked-away inlet with steep sides and remarkably clear water. The crew anchors in the shallows; from there, you can snorkel, swim, or simply lie in the water and watch fish dart beneath you. Bring sunscreen and expect strong Mediterranean sun reflecting off the water. The cove is genuinely quiet, so it feels less choreographed than typical beach stops.
Good to know
Bring a towel (not provided). A 70cm step up onto the boat requires reasonable mobility. Maximum 100kg per person. Not suitable if pregnant, with spine or heart conditions, or if very unfit. Public transport reaches the departure point. Infants must sit on an adult's lap.
