What to expect

You'll be fitted with full protective gear—wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, neoprene booties—then briefed on paddle technique and safety before launching. The inflatable craft sits low in the water and forives sloppy technique, letting you focus on reading current and timing strokes rather than fighting balance. Expect splashing, some bumpy chutes, and stretches of easier floating between whitewater sections. The river corridor narrows in places with rock walls; guides point out geology and vegetation. You'll paddle for roughly two hours with brief stops to regroup.

Good to know

Bring a bathing suit, thermal underlayer, and towel; trainers stay on during the paddle. Minimum two people required. Not suitable if pregnant, have spinal injury, poor cardiovascular fitness, or weigh over 100kg. Under 16s prohibited. Service animals welcome. Public transport accessible nearby.
