What to expect
You'll board early afternoon and head straight to the first snorkel site, mask and fins already on. The water's warm and clear enough to see coral patches and reef fish. After two island stops with time to wade and photograph, the boat anchors for dinner—grilled meat and fish cooked right there, fruit platters, bottled water. As dusk settles, you'll slip back into the water for the plankton swim; tiny organisms glow turquoise when disturbed, creating an eerie underwater sparkle. The ride back to the pier takes about an hour.
