What to expect
Your driver collects you early and heads north into Bali's interior. The first stop, Taman Ayun, reveals ornate temple architecture set in manicured grounds—you'll have time to walk the compound and absorb its calm. Next is the scenic drive to Bedugul; Ulun Danu Temple sits where the lake meets mist, with photo opportunities on all sides. After temple visits, you'll trek down to Banyumala waterfall, where a natural pool offers a chance to cool off. Lunch happens at a viewpoint overlooking the green slopes around Munduk. The return journey retraces the mountain road, arriving back at your hotel by late afternoon.
Good to know
Bring swimwear and a towel for the waterfall pool. Wear comfortable walking shoes with grip; paths around temples and to the waterfall are uneven. The journey involves winding roads—not suitable if you have spinal concerns. All entrance fees and donations are included; only driver tips are optional.
