What to expect

You'll be collected from your Darwin accommodation early morning and driven into Litchfield National Park. The day alternates between short walks through shaded forest and stops at different waterfall systems where swimming is possible (seasonal conditions apply). Your guide points out native plants and wildlife throughout. The walk to Florence Falls involves climbing down 160 steps—steep but manageable for those with reasonable fitness. Expect warm tropical weather, time in water, and roughly five to six hours of combined driving and activities before returning to the city by late afternoon.
