What to expect

You'll be picked up early from your accommodation and driven north to Lovina. The boat departs at dawn when dolphins are most active—expect 60–90 minutes scanning the water with a local captain who knows the routes. The ocean swell is usually calm here, though bring seasickness tablets if prone. After dolphins, you'll anchor to snorkel—visibility varies but you'll see reef fish and possibly turtles. By mid-morning, you're back on land heading inland to Git-Git, a modest multi-tiered cascade where you can wade and swim. The return journey includes stops in local villages. Pace is leisurely; bring sun protection and a rash vest for the boat.

Early start required—timing depends on your booking. Wear reef-safe sunscreen. Bring a waterproof bag for valuables. Not suitable if you have heart conditions or are very unfit.
