About this tour

Learn to craft mozzarella from scratch at a centuries-old farmstead in Sorrento's hills, then cook alongside Martina to prepare antipasti, handmade pasta and dessert using farm ingredients. You'll work through each stage—from curd to finished cheese—before settling on a terrace overlooking the Gulf to eat what you've made, with wine included. Three and a half hours total.

Highlights

  • Make fresh mozzarella under a cheesemaker's guidance
  • Tour the working farm and its produce
  • Cook three courses with a local chef
  • Dine on your own creations with Gulf views
  • Wine and coffee included throughout

What to expect

You'll start in the farmhouse kitchen where the cheesemaker walks you through mozzarella production—heating milk, cutting curds, stretching the cheese by hand. After a brief farm walk to see where ingredients come from, you join the chef to prepare an appetiser featuring your mozzarella, fresh pasta rolled and shaped by you, and a seasonal dessert. Nothing is rushed; expect hands-on work in the kitchen, some standing, a fair bit of stirring and kneading. Once everything's cooked, you move to the terrace to eat together.

Good to know

Wear clothes you don't mind getting splashed. The kitchen can get warm. Children under 18 cannot have wine, though soft drinks are available. Infants must sit with an adult. Bottled water, snacks, and tea are provided throughout.
