What to expect
You'll be collected from your hotel early and driven to Sanur for the fast boat to Nusa Penida. Once across, join your guide and fellow travellers for snorkelling at a manta ray site—conditions vary, but encounters with mantas, turtles and colourful reef life are common. After lunch, explore Kelingking Beach's dramatic clifftop viewpoint and swim in its cove. The final stop is Tembeling, where you'll wade through forest pools fed by freshwater springs. The day moves at a steady pace with time to rest between activities. Boat conditions can be choppy; seasickness tablets are worth considering.
Good to know
Shared tour means flexible departure times based on group size. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a rash guard and water shoes for rocky entries. The boat journey takes roughly 30 minutes each way. Snorkelling ability isn't essential—guides support beginners. Not suitable for pregnant travellers or those with spinal or heart conditions.
