About this tour
Walk through working olive groves outside Málaga and taste oils pressed from fruit harvested on the estate. Over two to three hours, you'll move between rows of trees, learn how the operation runs season to season, and sample the range of oils alongside other products made on-site. If you visit in October, you can join the harvest itself—pulling olives by hand and seeing them pressed the same day. Coffee and light snacks are included.
Highlights
- Taste fresh extra-virgin olive oil straight from the mill
- Pick olives during harvest season (October only)
- Walk working groves and learn production methods
- Sample natural soaps and preserves made on-site
- Coffee, tea, and snacks included
What to expect
Expect a slow-paced morning or afternoon moving through the groves on foot. Your host will explain the trees, soil, and seasonal cycle as you walk. At the tasting, you'll sample several oils—early-harvest (peppery, green) through late-harvest (buttery, mild)—alongside jams and soaps produced there. If visiting during October, you'll swap the tasting for hands-on harvesting: picking olives into baskets and watching them go through the press. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat; the groves offer little shade.
Good to know
October is harvest season and the most active time to visit. Outside that window, the tasting is the main event. No private transport is arranged; plan your own arrival. Strollers are welcome for infants. The walking is gentle and suited to all fitness levels.
