About this tour

Work alongside a French baker near the Eiffel Tower for two hours learning the mechanics of pastry-making from scratch. You'll fold laminated dough, shape baguettes, and craft croissants, then taste your results alongside other samples. It's hands-on work in a real bakery kitchen—expect flour under your fingernails and the satisfaction of biting into something you've actually made.

Highlights

  • Fold and layer dough like a Parisian baker does
  • Shape baguettes and croissants with proper technique
  • Taste your own bakes plus bakery samples
  • Learn in a working bakery kitchen, not a studio
  • Small group with a practising French baker
  • Located near Eiffel Tower, metro-accessible

What to expect

Arrive at the bakery on the second floor (15 steps, no lift). Your baker will demonstrate each technique—lamination, shaping, proofing—then you'll do it yourself, hands in the dough. You're working in a real kitchen with real timings, so some waiting happens while things proof or bake. Halfway through and at the end, you'll taste what you've made plus other pastries from the shop. You'll leave with recipes and probably a few crumbs in your bag.

Good to know

Wear clothes you don't mind getting flour on. The class is standing-heavy for two hours; comfortable shoes matter. Children under five can watch but can't participate. Service animals welcome. No lifts to the second-floor bakery.
