Spend two days in Paris learning photography fundamentals through hands-on practice rather than lectures. PhotoProf's instructors—seasoned photographers with a genuine passion for teaching—guide you through real-world shooting scenarios across the city. You'll apply each technique immediately, ask questions without judgement, and leave with written notes, video recordings, and a certificate. The focus is on learning by doing, not memorising theory.

What to expect

You'll spend both days outdoors across Paris with your instructor and a small group, camera in hand. Each session introduces a technique—composition, light, focus—followed by time to try it yourself whilst the instructor observes, offers feedback, and answers questions. Expect honest critique. There's no studio work or post-processing here; it's all field-based learning. Bring your own camera (any model works) and comfortable shoes. Between sessions, you'll have space to reflect and experiment. The instructors genuinely want you to improve and enjoy yourself, so the atmosphere stays encouraging even when things don't work out.

Good to know

You'll need your own camera—rentals aren't provided. All venues and routes are accessible by wheelchair and public transport. The course suits all fitness levels. You'll receive written course notes and video materials after completion to reinforce what you've learnt.
