About this tour
Learn to cook authentic Tuscan dishes at a multi-generational family farm deep in Chianti Classico. Over six hours, you'll prepare fresh pasta by hand, build antipasti platters, and master traditional techniques alongside a local cook. The farmhouse sits among vineyard rows and olive groves; after cooking, you'll eat what you've made and taste the farm's own wines and oils. Transport from Florence is included.

What to expect
You'll arrive at a rambling farmhouse where the same family has cooked for decades. Your instructor—a Tuscan home cook—walks you through making pasta dough, kneading and rolling it flat with a wooden pin until it's thin enough to see through. You'll shape it into ribbons or fill it, depending on the day's menu. While that rests, you'll assemble starters: toasting bread, rubbing it with garlic, drizzling it with their olive oil. You'll arrange cured meats and local cheeses, learning which honey or jam complements each. Then you cook, plate, and sit down to eat together at a long table. Wine and spirit tastings follow, along with a walk through the cellar.
