What to expect
You'll spend the morning and afternoon moving between your chosen spots—perhaps three or four locations depending on distances and tides. Snorkelling sessions typically run 45–60 minutes; bring or rent underwater cameras if keen. Bring a hat and reapply sunscreen often; the sun reflects fiercely off water and sand. Your skipper knows the reefs and can point out fish and corals, but this is self-guided exploration, not a structured tour. The boat rocks gently underway; if motion sickness is a concern, take precautions beforehand.
Good to know
Catering (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea) costs $30 per person extra and must be pre-ordered. Alcohol isn't supplied but BYO is welcome. Bring towels, swimwear, and waterproof sunscreen. Infants sit on laps; prams can be stowed. Not suitable if you have serious heart or respiratory conditions.
