What to expect
You'll start from the port and head south along the Amalfi Coast, watching the landscape shift from seaside towns to vertical cliffs and lemon groves. The guide will point out historical details and suggest the best photo angles at various pullouts. In Positano, you'll have time to wander the steep streets and soak in the Mediterranean light. Later, you'll reach Pompeii, where the ruins speak for themselves—a snapshot of Roman daily life frozen by Vesuvius. Sorrento rounds things out with its town atmosphere before returning to port. Expect a full day of sitting, walking at a moderate pace, and absorbing rather than rushing.
Good to know
Bring sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes. Pompeii's entry fee isn't included—budget accordingly or hire the optional archaeological guide (two hours). The minivan has water and WiFi. Lunch isn't provided. Public transport alternatives exist if you prefer flexibility.
